The Military Of Fashion

We live in a world where there’s a war happening somewhere, no matter where we are. We also live in a world where fashion is governing the lives of many worldly people. However, similar to how military soldiers have to be prepared for war, fashionistas have to be sure their fashionable preparedness is also met. Incorporated together, the fashion world and the military has made a very massive impact on the entire world with the use of military camouflage in fashion design clothing attire. In the 1960s, camouflage was introduced to the masses of the fashion world. However, this reasoning was for responsiveness to the war in Vietnam. The fashion world wanted to pay homage by incorporating camouflage into street-wear. After some time the trendy clothing design faded but somehow made its way back into the eyes of fashionistas around the world for street styles that were compatible with the 1980s era. Somewhere around the 1990s, the rise of the Gulf War was beginning, and the camouflage cloth for fashion clothing along with other military designs made their way into the wardrobes of fashion enthusiastic civilians. During this moment, the fashionable statement was originating from non-military styles but sporty styles such as skirts and dresses for women as well as jackets for men. Later, in the historical moment of camouflage, the military, and fashion, designers began to follow suit with the trendy clothes of camouflage. Many top-notch designer collections were vigorously incorporating the camouflage cloth into their fashion clothing for the attention of the upper-class riches. In conclusion, the camouflage cloth remains in the wardrobes of fashionable civilians simultaneously throughout time frames. Also, the entrenchment of the camouflage cloth abides firmly in the world of the military soldier throughout the entire twenty-first century. Even though the presence of camouflage is never absent in the military, it has now become just a regular designer print, similar to animal or plaid patterns.
